The Underbelly Project

In an abandoned section of Manhattan's underground subway, wall after wall in the darkness are covered with art. The Underbelly Project was the result of a group of New York artists searching for a space that "couldn't be bought". The underground subway was opened illegally and the artists slowly covered the insides with their work. The website can be found here.
